Anthropic is seeing explosive growth in demand for its AI products, with its annual revenue run rate climbing above $65 billion by the end of July.

A revenue run rate estimates how much a company could generate in a year if its current sales pace continues.

The company’s preliminary second-quarter revenue reached $11.5 billion, about 14 times higher than a year earlier. In May, Anthropic said its annualized revenue run rate had passed $47 billion, compared with roughly $10 billion in total revenue for 2025.

The stellar performance comes as the AI startup reportedly eyes a $2 billion valuation in a possible IPO this year.

Anthropic’s AI assistant Claude is driving the growth, gaining popularity among businesses and software developers, particularly through its coding tools.

The company has reportedly told investors it expects revenue of about $190 billion to $200 billion in 2028.
