Nvidia’s billions of dollars worth of investment plan in OpenAI is reportedly facing a roadblock as the chipmaker reevaluates the future of the partnership.
The original agreement was intended to provide OpenAI with the capital and specialized hardware to build data centers.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has said in recent months that the deal was non-binding and remains unfinalized, according to Reuters.
He has also privately expressed concerns about OpenAI’s business discipline and the mounting pressure from rivals such as Google and Anthropic.
