Thieves targeted the Magnani Rocca Foundation near Parma overnight between March 22 and 23

Three masterpieces by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cezanne, and Henri Matisse were stolen in a daring three-minute heist in northern Italy.

Thieves targeted the Magnani Rocca Foundation near Parma overnight between March 22 and 23.

Four hooded men forced entry through a first-floor door and stole Renoir’s Fish, Cezanne’s Still Life with Cherries, and Matisse’s Odalisque on the Terrace in under three minutes. The combined worth of the three paintings is $10 million.

Surveillance footage shows them fleeing across the villa’s gardens as alarms blared.

Police believe the theft was highly organized. The museum delayed disclosure, hoping to catch the suspects if they returned.

No arrests have been made, but Italy’s art crime unit, which recovers about 100,000 stolen artifacts yearly, is tracking leads. The museum remains open while authorities search for the missing masterpieces.
