In the ongoing feud with the entertainment giant, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Friday signed a bill canceling all the Disney deals.

He gave the new Central Tourism Oversight District Board under his control, the authority to cancel the agreements its predecessor had signed with Disney.

It can cancel deals signed up to three months before.

Investment gone
The board in February replaced the Disney-controlled Reedy Creek Improvement District to oversee development in the 25,000 acres surrounding Walt Disney World.

Contracts existed with the Florida government to invest $17 billion in Disney World into the Florida theme park and create 13,000 jobs over the next 10 years.

Started last year
The feud started last year after Disney criticized a new state law banning classroom instruction of sexuality and gender identity.

Disney sued DeSantis in federal court, alleging he orchestrated a “targeted campaign of government retaliation.” In reply, the board filed a lawsuit Monday against Disney.
