Swiss food giant Nestle reported stronger-than-expected sales growth in the third quarter on Thursday, reflecting CEO Philipp Navratil’s turnaround strategy.

The maker of Nescafe recorded 4% organic sales growth, beating analysts’ expectations of 3.4%. Sales volumes rose 2.8%, well above forecasts, while price increases contributed 1.1% growth.

Navratil, who became CEO in September 2025, is focusing on increasing sales volumes and simplifying the company’s business.

Nestle plans to reduce its exposure to ice cream, water and vitamin brands. The company maintained its full-year 2026 organic sales growth forecast of 3% to 4%.

Meanwhile, Nestle excluded its Russian business from its financial results after Moscow seized the operations last month.

The company expects to remove approximately $1.95 billion in Russian assets from its balance sheet.
