The criticism from business leaders is a stark contrast to several CEOs remaining publicly quiet

A Yale School of Management survey of 70 CEOs at its recent Washington, DC, convention found widespread private criticism of President Donald Trump’s policies.

Attendees included GM’s Mary Barra, Pfizer’s Albert Bourla, and Motorola Solutions’ Greg Brown, says Axios.

The survey results showed that 71% said tariffs harmed their businesses, 74% agreed courts were right to rule Trump’s tariffs illegal.

Around 80% said Trump’s pressure on Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell was not in the country’s best interest, and 76% said HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is endangering public health.

The criticism from business leaders is a stark contrast to several CEOs remaining publicly quiet for fear of retaliation.
