A new atmospheric river is expected to bring heavy rainfall and more flooding to northern and central California Monday and Tuesday. Meteorologists predict rainfall totalling 6 inches could be a possibility.

Around 15 million people remain under flood watch in California and Nevada and 34 counties are still under the State of Emergency. Hundreds of people in Monterey County were evacuated after a levee breach Sunday.

The last two weeks of snow storms and rainfall have slammed California with melting ice, flash floods and road closures.
