Legendary director and actor Rob Reiner, 78, and his wife Michele Reiner, 68, were found dead Sunday in their Brentwood, Los Angeles home, police officials said.

Reiner was known for directing hits such as The Princess Bride and When Harry Met Sally.

Condolences poured in from high-profile figures, including California Gov. Gavin Newsom, LA Mayor Karen Bass, and former President Barack Obama.

Reiner’s A Few Good Men (1992) scored him an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture.
