Sony’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day is breaking records ahead of its weekend opening, achieving a record $309 million in worldwide media value through its marketing campaign.

The film has achieved the highest media value ever recorded for a Hollywood release, surpassing the previous record of $288 million set by 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, the movie has secured 165 promotional partners. Brands including BMW, Samsung, Asus, Liquid I.V., and Little Caesars even make product-placement appearances in the film.

Major brands have flocked to the project because of the cast’s enormous social media reach. According to RelishMix, Zendaya leads with 216 million followers, followed by Tom Holland with 70 million, and Jon Bernthal with 5.3 million.
