Several  beer makers are welcoming the boom and investing more in their 0.0 beers

Alcohol-free beer sales are rising, and it’s not due to #SoberOctober on your social media. Since 2022, sales of non-alcoholic beers shot up 32% in the country and averaged 31% over the last four years, according to NielsenIQ data.

In a bid to capitalize on the growing market, Heineken, Budweiser, Corona and Guinness are welcoming the boom and investing more in their 0.0 beers.

While health-conscious younger generations like Gen Zs and millennials have been drinking less, their interest in alcohol-free beers is intriguing.

Why?
Analysts explain that the rise is due to multiple factors like better taste, moderate drinking, and the way people socialize.

Non-alcoholic beers are an inviting option for people who want to day drink, drive after drinking, or simply reduce their alcohol consumption. They can still head to a party and have fun, sans beer.
