PepsiCo scored a much-needed win, extending its Taco Bell supply deal through 2036. The agreement comes just days after KFC dropped the company as its supplier for rival Coca-Cola.
The move ensures that iconic beverages like Mountain Dew Baja Blast and Doritos Locos Tacos stay on the menu.
Both have been successful additions, but the soda has become a standout success, growing into a $1 billion brand on its own, the companies said in their joint announcement.
The renewed deal includes plans for further menu collaborations, with new Doritos Locos Tacos flavors and energy drinks expected soon.
