Actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop was sued by Good Clean Love|Georges Biard|CC BY-SA 3.0

Good Clean Love is taking Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop to court, alleging trademark infringement.

GCL claims that the actress is using a confusingly similar trademark, “Good. Clean. Goop.” on sexual health products, which they argue capitalizes on Good Clean Love’s established reputation.

The company also accuses Goop of containing harsh chemicals.

Despite receiving a cease and desist letter, Goop continued marketing its products under the contested mark. GCL is seeking injunctions, damages and legal fees.
