Former President Barack Obama clarified that he saw no evidence of extraterrestrials while in office, but said the universe is vast and life elsewhere is statistically possible|Giphy News

President Donald Trump said Thursday he will direct federal agencies to begin releasing government documents related to aliens and unidentified flying objects.

Posting on Truth Social, he vowed to declassify files on UFOs and unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), ending his message with “GOD BLESS AMERICA.”

His comments came hours after he accused former President Barack Obama of sharing classified information during a recent podcast.

Obama clarified that he saw no evidence of extraterrestrial life while in office, but said the universe is vast and that life elsewhere is statistically possible.

A 2024 Pentagon report found no confirmed evidence of extraterrestrial activity, attributing many historic sightings to advanced US military tests.
