After India launched airstrikes that targeted nine areas in Pakistan, the latter vowed retaliation.
Pakistan says the strikes killed 31 people.
According to New Delhi, the attack was a response to the April 22 terrorist attack in the Kashmir region that killed 26 tourists.
Pakistan has called the missile attacks “an act of war,” and its Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, has authorized the country’s army to take “corresponding actions.”
India maintains that it hit only “terror camps” and not civilian or military areas.
