With mental health care in high demand yet underfunded, artificial intelligence has emerged as a game-changing solution. The U.K.’s healthcare system is at the forefront of implementing AI-driven mental health tools in clinical practice.

Limbic, a British AI startup’s e-triage tool, has expertly screened over 210,000 patients for eight distinct mental disorders, achieving 93% accuracy.

Britain’s NHS lauded this tool for a 45% misdiagnosis reduction. It targets conditions including anxiety, depression and PTSD.

Meanwhile, American startup Kintsugi, backed by $28 million in funding, employs voice analysis for detecting depression and anxiety and is in its trials.
