A deal that would end the 113-day Hollywood actors’ strike may be on the horizon since SAG-AFTRA—the union representing artists—said it is reviewing the “last, best, and final offer” from the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers whose members include Netflix, Disney, Warner Bros. Discovery and NBCUniversal.

Around 16,000 actors have been on strike since July 14, demanding better pay, benefits, streaming residuals and AI protections.

Executives close to the negotiations say the deal involves the highest wage increase in 40 years, a 100% hike in performance compensation bonuses for high-budget streaming series and movies, strong protections from AI misusing them, etc.
