The 68th Annual Grammy Awards delivered a historic win to Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, making his album Debi Tirar Mas Fotos the first Spanish-language project to win Album of the Year.
Kendrick Lamar dominated the rap categories, taking home five trophies and officially setting a record for the most wins by a rapper, 27 lifetime awards.
Other major winners included Billie Eilish, who set a record for the most Song of the Year wins, and the soundtrack for KPop Demon Hunters, which earned the first-ever Grammy for the K-pop genre.
It was also an evening of sharp political defiance. When accepting the award, Bad Bunny said, “Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say ICE out.”
Several artists, including Billie Eilish and Justin Bieber, wore “ICE OUT” pins.
