To prevent a rerun of the Taylor Swift’s Eras tour debacle fans must register as a Verified Fan in Ticketmaster or Live Nation to book tickets.
Verified fans will have a chance to get access codes through a lottery-style process. Only then can they book tickets.
The registration process might reduce ticket scalping programs and resellers from getting most of the tickets since Ticketmaster blamed them during its congressional hearing last week.
