Trading platform Public is offering a unique opportunity to everyday investors. From today, the trading platform users will be able to buy $10 shares of an entity that owns a piece of Shrek music rights.

How is revenue generated?
The 768 soundtracks earn royalties each time the movies are broadcast on TV, streamed or when the music features in theme parks. Shareholders will receive a piece of that money.

Public is set to earn a 2.4% cut from the initial offering.

Shareholders won’t be just sitting back, they’ll receive quarterly payouts from the royalties.

Although dividends aren’t guaranteed, Public reported Shrek soundtrack generated a yield of 8.5% in 2022 and 8.33% in 2021.
