UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson will set out a list of new policies to senior ministers after surviving a confidence vote on Monday by securing 211 votes to 148.

Johnson’s primary task is to win back the senior-most allies and the general public. To this end, he would meet the party members and lay down his vision in the coming weeks, including new policies to reduce childcare costs and to guide people on buying their own homes, according to a statement issued by Johnson's office.

Partygate scandal
The lawmakers from Johnson’s conservative political party called for a no-confidence motion because of the “partygate” scandal to determine whether he was eligible to be the Prime Minister or not.
