After being forced to sell the Chelsea Football Club, the US Justice Department ordered the seizure of two planes owned by Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich on Monday—valued at more than $400 million.

According to the prosecutors, both planes flew to Russia in March, violating the US export restrictions imposed on the Kremlin over its attack on Ukraine.

In a related action, the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry is looking into seeking penalties of up to twice the value of the aircraft.
