The price of a gallon of diesel has risen 48 cents since July

Crude oil prices surged to a 10-month peak as OPEC+ production cuts are beginning to take a toll on customers and businesses.

The price of a gallon of diesel has risen 48 cents since July.

The rise in diesel, jet and marine fuel prices has already impacted the construction, transportation and farming sectors.

Industries reliant on transportation and energy are also feeling the pinch. Airlines like American and Spirit caution about higher costs as jet fuel soars over 50%.

Brent crude has now crossed $90 a barrel, driving up goods and service costs.

On the other hand, refiners are benefiting from the widening price gap between fuel and crude.
