In the latest discovery of secret papers at top-ranking officials, around 12 documents were found last week at former vice president Mike Pence’s Indiana home by his lawyer.

The documents, marked as classified, are with the FBI now.

Under the Presidential Records Act, once an administration ends, White House records must go to the National Archives.

As investigators are already looking into President Joe Biden’s and former president Donald Trump’s possession of classified documents, Pence had asked his team to check if he had any papers at his place.
