Vice President JD Vance attributed Republican losses in the midterms directly to public frustration over the ongoing war in Iran.
The war drastically drove up oil and gasoline prices and increased the cost of living for Americans.
Posting on X, Vance said, “The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night.”
Vance also highlighted four critical issues that voters reported Republicans must address to regain support: ending the Iran war, tackling inflation and the cost of living, prioritizing America-first policies, and altering the US relationship with Israel.
