Former president Donald Trump is hours away from his Monday morning deadline of making a $454 million bond payment related to a civil fraud case.

The former president’s lawyers claimed securing half a billion was “impossible” since 30 companies rejected his request for a bond. If Trump misses the deadline, the New York attorney general could start seizing some of his properties.

Monday is a pivotal day for Trump as a criminal court judge will decide a trial date for his hush-money case.
