Former President Donald Trump posted on Facebook and YouTube for the first time yesterday since his 2021 ban. The post contained a video titled “I’M BACK!”
The new post comes a few weeks after his 2024 election run announcement and is pivotal to his political fundraising. Trump has combined 146 million followers across three major tech platforms.
YouTube lifted the ban on Trump yesterday, while Facebook, Instagram and Twitter reinstated his accounts a few months back.
Most social media platforms banned Trump in 2021 after his followers attacked the Capitol on January 6, 2021. He has regained access to most platforms but largely remained silent—even on his own Truth Social app.
To everyone’s surprise, he is yet to Tweet.
