Home Depot said it is raising some prices due to increased tariffs, reversing its earlier stance.
The home-improvement giant had earlier suggested that prices of its products would generally remain the same, but it now plans “modest price movement in some categories,” CFO Richard McPhail told the Wall Street Journal. Significantly higher tariffs on certain imports compared to last quarter is one of the main reasons behind the move.
Half of its products come from outside the US.
