SpaceX scrubbed its 12th Starship megarocket test flight on Thursday evening due to last-minute issues that triggered multiple holds.

CEO Elon Musk posted on X that if the issues related to the hydraulic pin holding the tower arm are fixed, then they may attempt to launch on Friday at 5:30 p.m. CT.

The highly anticipated mission marks the first flight in months and the debut of the upgraded Version 3 of the Starship, following several mishaps with the V2 prototype last year.

The delay also comes as SpaceX is preparing for a huge stock market launch that could become the biggest IPO in history, valuing it at over $1.5 trillion.
