Sports gambling platform DraftKings has officially launched DK Replay, which allows year-round wagering. It is currently exclusive to the Oregon market for users aged 21 and over. It aims to expand the product to additional jurisdictions pending local approvals.

History meets real-time thrill
The game utilizes a vast database of historical Major League Baseball (MLB) appearances. It presents users with anonymized matchups between pitchers and hitters, categorized as bronze, silver, or gold based on historical stats like batting average, earned run average, strikeouts, and more.

Within a limited time frame, players bet on whether the next pitch will be a ball, a strike, or a ball in play. To ensure transparency, the specific players and original game scenarios are revealed only after the result is shown.

The new feature comes as DraftKings pivots toward a consolidated digital gambling ecosystem. It is developing a super app that integrates sports betting, iGaming, lottery services, and prediction markets.

Prediction markets have been under lawmaker scrutiny, with a new bill aiming to eliminate sports bets on platforms like Kalshi and Polymarket.
