Major League Baseball (MLB) plans to end the jersey criticism from players and sports fans. An internal memo by the MLB Players Association shows the League is addressing the issues in the new uniforms and is planning fixes by the start of the 2025 season.

Designed by Nike and manufactured by Fanatics, the new uniforms were criticized for the see-through and easily torn pants, small letters and logo placement, mismatched colors and stains that appeared when players got sweaty.

The Vapor Premier uniforms, which cost around $175, were deemed as knockoffs by MLB fans.

In the memo, the association blamed Nike for the problems. The document said the sports apparel and footwear company “was innovating something that didn’t need to be innovated.”
