The reigning queen of gymnastics, Simone Biles, secured her top spot on the U.S. World Championships team by the narrowest of margins at the selection event in Katy, Texas, yesterday.

Biles managed to edge out competitor Shilese Jones by just 0.4 points, finishing with an all-around score of 55.700.

A five-time all-rounder gold medalist, Biles, will represent the United States at the World Championships in Antwerp, Belgium, later this month. It will be her first international competition since withdrawing from multiple events at the Tokyo Olympics.

The final six-member U.S. roster, likely with Jones, will be announced today.
