At the Computex conference in Taipei, Nvidia unveiled its first personal laptop computers designed specifically to run AI agents. The new RTX Spark chips will power them.
The PCs will be built in partnership with six manufacturers: Dell Technologies, Lenovo Group, Microsoft, HP, Asus, and MSI.
Nvidia plans to launch 30 laptop models and around 10 desktop models based on its graphics-processing technology. The premium-priced systems are aimed at creators, AI developers, and gamers.
Meanwhile, the Department of Commerce is moving to close a year-old loophole that may have allowed the export of advanced AI chips to Chinese entities based outside mainland China, including in countries like Malaysia.
The sophisticated processors include Nvidia’s advanced Rubin and Blackwell chips, as well as AMD’s MI350x.
