Google claims Gemini outperforms OpenAI’s GPT-4 in 30 out of 32 benchmarks|Google

Google released its large language model (LLM) called Gemini yesterday, which it claims outperforms ChatGPT. CEO Sundar Pichai calls it the beginning of a new era in AI.

Gemini comes in three versions: Nano for Android devices, Pro for AI services (that now powers AI chatbot Bard), and Ultra for data centers and enterprise applications.

Google claims Gemini outperforms OpenAI’s GPT-4 in 30 out of 32 benchmarks, with a focus on multimodality, including video and audio interaction.

The tech giant sees Gemini as a significant leap forward in maintaining its lead in the web search space.
