Elon Musk’s AI chatbot Grok is facing global backlash after a surge in reports that it sexualized images of women and minors.
Regulators in the UK, France, India, Brazil, and elsewhere are investigating claims that the AI chatbot enabled users to create and share deepfake images, including of minors in bikinis.
The Justice Department warned it will aggressively prosecute child sexual abuse material.
Although Grok apologized last week for images that violated the US law’s ethical standards, users report that it continues to generate such content.
