The artificial intelligence momentum isn’t slowing down. President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Monday creating the “Genesis Mission,” a federal initiative to accelerate US research on AI.
It expands computational resources, improves access to large federal datasets, and pushes agencies toward real-world AI deployments across robotics, biotechnology, manufacturing, and nuclear fission and fusion. The White House frames the mission as having the same urgency as the Manhattan Project.
