Elon Musk’s alleged drug usage sparks concerns

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has reportedly consumed illegal drugs like LSD, cocaine, ecstasy, psychedelic mushrooms and ketamine, worrying investors, executives, and board members of his companies, finds the Wall Street Journal.

The WSJ details instances of Musk’s alleged drug use, such as taking acid at a party in 2018 and using ketamine recreationally in 2021.

The report quotes multiple insiders fearing deterioration of Musk’s health and the billion-dollar assets he oversees. Forbes currently estimates Musk’s net worth at $243.5 billion, making him the wealthiest person in the world.

Musk’s attorney asserts that he is regularly and randomly drug-tested at SpaceX and has never failed a test.
