Pfizer may almost quadruple its COVID-19 vaccine price to about $110 to $130 per dose once the government’s current purchase program expires.

The US pays around $30 per dose to the company and its German partner BioNTech SE and is provided for free.

Angela Lukin, Pfizer executive, said chances are high that the vaccine would be provided for free to people with government or private insurance.
