Jack Teixeria, the 21-year-old Air National Guardsman accused of leaking classified Pentagon documents online, was indicted yesterday by a federal grand jury.

He was charged with six counts of willful retention and transmission of documents related to US defense. Each count carries a maximum sentence of up to 10 years.

Teixeira was arrested in April for allegedly leaking top-secret intelligence files to the public via a Discord chat room, including highly-classified documents with information about the war in Ukraine.
