The US Air Force plans to make 100 B-21 Raider|Northrop Grumman

America’s new bomber aircraft in 30 years, the B-21 Raider, took its first test flight yesterday in Palmdale, California. The stealth warplane is designed to penetrate the toughest defenses and land precise strikes.

Northrop Grumman has developed the UFO-looking stealth bomber. The US Air Force plans to make 100 aircraft in variants with and without pilots, reports AP.

The B-21 Raider is based on its predecessor B-2 Spirit, but will have advanced propulsion and stealth technology. Its details are heavily protected and classified to prevent other nations, including China, from building a similar one.
