The Albert Einstein College of Medicine received a $1 billion donation from 93-year-old professor Ruth Gottesman, along with instructions on how to use the money. It is said to be the largest gift to any medical school in US history.
The widow of a Wall Street financier wants the gift to be used to provide free education in perpetuity for all 737 medical students at the school.
