Bill Maher’s decision followed similar reversals from talk show hosts like Drew Barrymore over the weekend|realtimers; thedrewbarrymoreshow|Instagram
Bill Maher reversed his decision to air his weekly HBO show, Real Time, a day after Drew Barrymore announced that she was pausing the return of her namesake talk show amid the actors and writers strike after facing backlash.
According to Maher’s post on X, his decision comes after the WGA has agreed to go back to the negotiating tables. His earlier decision to restart the show—which he announced last week—came when “there was no end in sight” to the strike.
