MoviePass will re-launch in ‘beta form’ on Labor Day|MoviePass|via Giphy

MoviePass, America’s famous subsidized movie ticketing service, will be back in full swing this Labor Day.

The company announced that it will relaunch in “beta form” on September 5, and users can sign up for subscription rates between $10 and $30.

The limited waitlist sign-up starts Thursday at 9 a.m. ET, and will be open for five days until Monday.

MoviePass is also working on bringing back its signature physical card, but not the red one. Instead, the card will be all black.

The re-launch announcement comes after MoviePass co-founder Stacy Spikes—who was fired in 2018—bought back the company last November after its parent Helios and Matheson Analytics declared bankruptcy.
