Starbucks saw its same-store sales rise 4% globally and in the US, marking the first domestic increase since 2023

Starbucks posted mixed results yesterday, with rising traffic signaling progress in its turnaround even as profits took a hit.

Same-store sales rose 4% globally and in the US, marking the first domestic increase since 2023. Store traffic climbed 3%, with customers spending more time and money in cafes.

The company expects momentum to continue, forecasting at least 3% growth in global and US same-store sales this year.

However, challenges remain. Profit plunged more than 60% despite a 5% rise in revenue, hurt by store and workforce investments, tariffs, and high coffee prices.
