Louisiana’s top prosecutor sued online gaming giant Roblox, accusing it of failing to protect children from predators.
Attorney General Liz Murrill alleged the platform has no effective age verification, making it easy for adults to pose as kids.
The lawsuit cites explicit games and experiences such as “Escape to Epstein Island,” “Diddy Party” and “Public Bathroom Simulator Vibe.” These experiences allow real-time messaging.
The case alleges a Louisiana man recently arrested for child sexual abuse material used Roblox to lure minors with voice-altering software.
Roblox, which has 82 million daily users—20% under age 9—denied the allegations, saying it invests heavily in safety and blocks harmful content.
The suit seeks a permanent order to stop Roblox from promoting its safety features as adequate.
