The respondents’ key factors for defining success included providing for the family, happiness and debt-free living

Most Black Americans, regardless of income, see themselves as successful, according to a new Pew Research survey of over 4,700 participants.

Among them, 66% felt “successful” and 26% felt “extremely” or “very successful,” especially in higher-income brackets.

The respondents’ key factors for defining success included providing for the family, happiness and debt-free living.

Concerns about bills, debt, retirement savings and housing persist, affecting individuals across income levels.
