The United States witnessed massive nationwide protests on Saturday as hundreds of thousands joined “No Kings” rallies opposing President Donald Trump and his policies.

Organizers said the demonstrations reflect concerns that leadership is becoming increasingly authoritarian.

The coalition estimated that at least 8 million people participated across more than 3,300 locations, including around 350,000 in New York City.

Minnesota’s Twin Cities hosted the largest gathering, with about 100,000 people assembling at the state capitol. Protesters raised slogans against immigration enforcement, the war in Iran, and rising economic pressures.

Signs reading “No wars, No ICE, No kings” were widely visible, highlighting opposition to both domestic and foreign policies.

Authorities reported largely peaceful events. New York police confirmed no protest-related arrests, and San Diego officials reported no major incidents among roughly 40,000 participants.

Participants ranged from students to retirees, reflecting broad public frustration over immigration raids, foreign policy decisions, and the rising cost of living.

Demonstrations also spread internationally, with rallies reported in parts of Europe.
