Prince Harry says he has considered becoming a US citizen

Prince Harry revealed he has considered becoming an American citizen someday. “It’s a thought that has crossed my mind but it’s not a high priority for me right now,” he said on ABC’s Good Morning America on Friday.

Harry was speaking weeks after his father, Britain’s King Charles III, was diagnosed with cancer. According to the prince, he flew straight to London after hearing the news from the king himself.

“I love my family, the fact I could jump on a plane and see him and spend any time with him—I’m grateful for that,” he said.

The Duke of Sussex also suggested the king’s illness could lead to a reconciliation with his father as he spoke about the monarch’s cancer diagnosis.
