Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to a 20-point peace plan proposed by President Donald Trump aimed at ending the war in Gaza.
According to the plan, Hamas must disarm and give up the administration of Gaza. The proposal also demands the release of the remaining hostages within the next 72 hours.
The plan also talks of a separate Palestinian state in the future.
Trump unveiled the plan, saying Hamas must accept it or Israel will proceed with full military action.
Diplomatic sources report Hamas is reviewing the proposal. Several Western countries, including France and Italy, as well as Arab nations like Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, welcomed the plan.
Despite ongoing talks in Washington, Israeli attacks continued in Gaza, killing at least 39 people, while a drone strike in southern Lebanon killed one.
Analysts warn that the plan leaves room for interpretation, but it could offer Palestinians crucial access to aid.
