‘Europe loves to discuss the future but avoids taking action today,’ Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said|@ZelenskyyUa|X
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky began his Thursday address in Davos by sharply criticizing European leaders for their unwillingness to employ hard power to counter Russia or defend Europe.
His comments came after a last-minute meeting with President Donald Trump.
“Europe loves to discuss the future but avoids taking action today,” the Ukrainian president said.
While Europe may think it is holding Ukraine together as Trump steps back, Zelensky said the continent is too cautious, too slow, and long overdue for the wake-up call Trump delivered.
He further called on the US to freeze Russian assets.
