Costco will soon sell the popular weight-loss drugs Ozempic and Wegovy, as Novo Nordisk works to stay ahead of cheaper copycat versions.
More than 500 Costco pharmacies in the US will offer prescription-only injectable pens for $499 per four-week supply. That price is about half the list price for Ozempic and two-thirds less than Wegovy’s.
Executive members and Costco Citibank cardholders will get an extra 2% cash-back reward. Health insurance may further lower costs. Novo Nordisk already offers the same discount online, as well as at CVS and Walmart.
